Default Trading truck. Need help ASAP!

So I don't have any cats on my trucks exhaust. I am about to trade in for a newer truck and my parents came up with an idea that scares me. I am trading at a dealership and I want to know if they will still trade with my truck not having cats??

Im sure they will trade, but, they might deduct from your trade in to get it replaced?

Okay that's good to hear. And I don't think it will matter because mine has high mileage and they are going to send it to an auction thing.

I doubt they'll even look to see if it has cats.

Neither good nor bad. Means they wont bother prepping it for sale on their lot. They will dump it to a wholesaler for auction. i.e. they will not waste their time trying to re-sell the truck themselves. As stated, they probably wont even look to see if it has cats.

And if they do ask take the "I don't know it was like that when I bought it" approach . I'm 99% sure they won't look anyway. My buddy traded in his 2wd ram a few weeks ago and they assumed since it was lifted that it was 4wd- never asked him or looked. I saw it sitting at the lot with a 4wd sticker on the windshield lol.
