Gas Tank Question
So I've got a gas tank question.
I had a 1997 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Long Bed, it had a 35 gallon gas tank. Currently, I have a 1997 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Short Bed with a 26 gallon gas tank. I still have the 35 gallon tank from the other truck, and when I swapped out my fuel pump, I tried to use the 35 gallon tank, but it wouldn't work because there was no where under the truck to connect the front strap. Is there a larger gas tank that would work on an Extended Cab Short Bed? Is this old 35 gallon tank of any use?
Thanks! I just have this extra tank and don't think I can do anything with it.

I think I'm going to go walk around a junk yard and see what I can find. I think I read that the EC/SB Ram 2500 had a 34 gallon tank and the Long Bed 2500 had a 35 gallon tank. I'll have to see if that's true and if the 34 gallon tank straps up the same as mine.

I'm sure there's a way to do it.
