Yes, you need cooling in the frigid North Dakota right now....

Good to see a DIY version. My TCP setup is still going strong.

+1 on TCP being nice... I did swap Spal fans for Derale though... much quieter and still do more than enough cooling... especially with a new all ali radiator.
I was having vibration issues with the Spal fans... they snapped the drive pins.

My Spals remain good. They did give me a different controller, Derale over the Spal.

I don't think the Spal controller is available any more.
I'm using the Flex-a-lite controller.

Spal was very good about providing spare parts for the fans, but the problem arose again after a time, so I just changed to Derale.

Blue Mopar,
Now that it's summer, how are you E-Fans holding up?

Did you notice any change in MPG?

Just to put my findings in the mix;
My setup is working fine in 90°F+ temps... cool as a cucumber... With a 180° Stant, I'm running 180-185°F on a scanner... doesn't matter if I'm blistering along, or backed up in traffic... the VS controller isn't going above the minimum (65%)... A/C is cold... I saw maybe 0.75mpg improvement.
