I use internet explorer for my browser home page and there are a bunch of boxes on it, one of them is a shortcut directly to this forum

Well for a while I was using Firefox exclusively but it got to where it was doing updates all the time and would add browser extensions that I did not want so I have it where I can turn it on if I want but most of the time IE is my default browser.

I do not like Chrome for the same reason.

IE does updates all the time but before it just installs and runs them it asks me if I want to use the latest 'uber kewl' new thing or not.

I suppose there is a setting in the others that would allow me the same option but I haven't found it.

Both Fire Fox and Chrome really slow my computer down too. I think they both have more bloatware than IE. Might be wrong, have been before.

Sometimes I really miss Netscape.

It is still around and useable but Idon't know anyone who uses it anymore. When it came out it was 'thebomb'.

I heard IE was going by the wayside in future Win releases... MS have something else up their sleeve to replace it.

I wouldn't count on it being a sleeve that Microsoft's got something up!
