The Official 2015 2nd Gen Ram OT Thread
I've used a clip board or a BIG phone book. I've seen one engine suck the clip board in and spit out wood chips after. Use to happen to some of the diesel engines in the Army at least once a month.
I've made a lot of stuff out of old pallets boards. At one place we got really nice sanded both sides pine boards in sort of crates that held tempered glass.
I'd take a bundle home almost every day. Finally one day my boss was standing by the door when I was headed out and asked me what I was doing with all that wood. I told him I was building a tree.

Around here there are lots of places that will give you pallets. Some are very new looking.
You could always get more than one and transfer enough good boards to a broken one to make a good one.
Way back when I worked at the casket factory I scavenged nice oak pallet boards to build my self a really nice oak casket. Old Pop Dubil was in charge of making all the wood caskets and I ended up working with him part of my days for a few months.
I told him I had built one and he told me to bring it in and he would inspect it. Finally one day I put it in my station wagon figuring that maybe at break time he would go look at it.
At first break he did come out and took a peep at it said I did a pretty good job on it. I figured that was that. I was wrong,... He brought it inside and put a top of the line interior and brass hardware on it had it coated with hot lacquer and buffed it out.
He put it back in my station wagon. I was sure surprised to see it all finished like that when I went to go home.
