With how tall my truck is, I definitely need to get some kind of step installed. I don't think I like the look of the little single step u-shaped things, and I want to do some type of running board. Who's done aftermarket bars? I've seen some for under $200 which I think is cheaper than lowering the truck, lol. How was installing? It seems like a lot o these come with the mounting material, but does the truck need any mods for the mounting?

You have to drill 2 or 4 holes for the mounts.
Been over a year and still pretty solid.
