Just curious what you do with your old antifreeze? I have probably 5 jugs sitting in my garage I've gathered over the years. I actually moved them when I sold my old house and bought this one, lol. I tried taking them to AutoZone once and they said go away with them, we don't take it, lol.

Call around to local shops. They have to have a way to dispose of it. I take mine to a friends place. He has a 500 gallon tank that some service comes and pumps out, and PAYS him for it...... Nice huh?

I thought about doing that since there's a shop up the road maybe a mile away.

My town has a hazardous materials collection site. Free to residents. Maybe you have one? Or like HeyYou says, some auto parts stores might also.

in all seriousness. most mom and pop shops will take it, as they have tanks to dump it into.

Oddly, my local AutoZone (which I avoid) has a sign in the window stating that they take antifreeze, but then you try to take some in there and they say they don't. My city has a local recycling place to go dispose of it, free of charge.
