Anyone know the stock wheel specs for a 2001 ram 1500. I read several places including here buy it seems no one knows the wheel specs for the 01 16 inch wheel. I'm looking for back spacing in particular. Also has anyone heard of using Durango or Dakota wheels on these trucks? I read Dakota owners are putting ram wheels on their 05-08 Dakotas since it is same bolt pattern. But the Dakota wheels I think have a 5.5 backspace.
I ask this cause in my area Dakota wheels are way cheaper than the ram wheels.
I did the read the thread on this forum about ram wheel FAQs but nothing it I saw gave me the information I am looking for.

so with more digging I think I found the answer to my question. the 200-2001 dodge ram 1500 with the 16 inch wheel has approx 5 inch of backspace.
