A question for anyone whom has installed an LED tailgate light bar.
What did you do about the spare tire winch handle opening?
It is right in the middle of the tailgate/bumper gap, where the light bar should go.
I've wondered about this as well, I ordered an Opt7 Redline 60" and I've gotta roll pan, I don't know if I can just bend the light bar over the hump or if I need to cut some of the bumper out which I don't want to do.
My light bar sits below the spare tire winch handle opening. I did have to cut a notch in the plastic light bar backing plate as it did cover the hole. The light bar will need to sit low anyway to allow the tailgate to open, otherwise it will get pinched.
So what can I do with the roll pan being in the way? The way your light bar is L-shaped can I stick the bracket on the back of the tailgate and have the led lights running along the bottom of the tailgate if you know what I mean?

I think with your roll pan bumper it will get pinched if you attach to the bottom of the tailgate but you'll have to check clearance to be sure. It would look cool there and I thought about that too, but having to unplug the wiring when removing the tailgate would be a pain.
I think your best option is to mount like mine, but use double side tape, should have enough clearance. You can trim away some of the excess backing too. I plan to trim mine up and use double side tape for a cleaner look.

Do you think it will be able to go over the little hump in the pan that accommodates the spare tire lift? I think you can get bendable light bars as well. That might work better. There was also the idea of mounting it on the underneath side of the tailgate and having a downlight/glow effect however I think that would pretty much make the blinkers and reverse pointless. One shop also said they could maybe custom fit some led bars in the actual roll pan but thats kinda a scary thought and if I ever sell it not everybody might like it and thats just ruining a $300 bumper to that person.
