I am not saying the HBS control arms are crap. I just want a tighter more comfortable ride. Those don't seem like they would do that. I avoid potholes and even puddles leftover on dry roads from the rain the day before (mainly because I don't want my truck dirty).
I can tell you with 100% certainty that those control arms are not going to cause your axle to move side to side. You need to get that out of your head. The both ends have what is called a Johnny Joint and they are not going to cause your truck to wander all over the road. Where are you getting this idea from? It doesn't say anything about your axle moving side to side. And as long as your track bar is in good shape the axle won't move side to side just up and down. Now with those joints one both ends you will get a little more road vibrations transmitted into the cab.
You want something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-1994-2009-Adjustable-Front-Upper-and-Lower-EXTREME-DUTY-Control-Arms-/161340706145?hash=item2590a7cd61&vxp=mtr
Notice the poly bushing at one end and the Johnny Joint at the other. The poly bushing end goes on the frame and the Johnny Joint goes on the axle.
I have installed 100's of these arms on many types of vehicles and I can tell you it isn't going to make your trucks front axle wobble side to side. If you do add better control arms drop the springs in the rear and install poly bushings in place of the stock rubber ones. Do the springs and the frame too.
