Default front end rebuild cost?

What has everyone been paying for a complete front of end rebuild, using stock components (no 3rd gen track bar conversions)? I'm pretty certain that my front end on my truck is in need of a rebuild. I myself have never got it rebuilt in the 60,000 I've owned it. In fact, all that has been done to it is a new tie rod end since I've had it. But anyways, when driving down the highway now, my truck has a pretty good shake. Enough to where I can see the headache rack shaking on the bed in the mirror and I feel like my whole body is using the shake weight. Now I've gone in for tire rotate and balance several times to no avail. Towing the boat, I think the shake from the truck transfers to the boat trailer somehow because it shakes too. Tires are fine. Alignment is ok but hasn't been done recently. Also, the engine is not misfiring causing the shake.

Think I would start with inspecting everything up front.... see what's bad, take it from there.

In my 99' 1500 4x4, got ball joints, wheel hub and bearing, tie rod end and adjuster, and stabilizer link replaced on one side of truck. Cost me ~$800 including the required alignment

I've got an appointment setup for tomorrow at the tire shop where I do lots of business for them to check out all the steering, suspension and check the alignment on it. This is the one time I hope they can find something bad. Of course I will want them to show me what's bad before they just go ahead and take my money.
