Just curious what prices are like around the country. Right now in Central Florida I'm seeing $2.15 for 87, $2.35 for 89, $2.55 for 93 and $2.45 for diesel on average...
That's actually quite common. Diesel is actually about 40% cheaper to produce than gas but every state taxes it higher. In states that don't tax A LOT higher, it's cheaper than gas. When I'm up at my property in very rural south Georgia you can get off-road (no highway tax) diesel for about a buck less a gallon than highway diesel which makes it way less than gas. Problem is, don't get caught pumping in your truck. The fine is stupid high...
87 with 10% ethanol - $2.49
87 no ethanol - $2.79
89 with 10% ethanol - $2.59
89 no ethanol - $2.89
91 no ethanol - $2.99
e85 ~ $1.99
diesel - $2.39
93 - no one for 200 miles has it except a dirt tracks.
I don't know about other states but ND makes gas stations mark ethanol content.
