Default Trans cooler

I picked up a new rad support last weekend. Had what I am guessing was a factory aux oil cooler. I believe it was the 5.9 motor. 1500 frame. Oil cooler lines ran into radiator out into aux cooler and back to tranny. Should I run mine the same when I install or run only through aux cooler???

Alright. Would you happen to know why dodge did it both ways? I found 2 other trucks I'm assuming factory had trans coolers but didn't run through the radiator?

Probably changed when either the radiator, or trans were replaced.

Although, given you live in Florida...... running thru the radiator cooler first is most certainly optional.

Honestly I was guessing which direction it flowed. Top of radiator went into aux cooler. Would it be better to leave it running through the radiator so it warms up with the truck?

In Florida? Don't think that's too much of an issue for you.
