Thankfully, there are no subs in that game. I dumped one of my Russian cruisers because that turd would barely make 27 knots. I dumped a Japanese cruiser because it didn't have enough firepower. Two of my German cruisers and one Russian cruiser are awesome in combat and move quickly.

Went through all the trouble of installing the game and it gave me an error message, something like "Shader 3.0 not supported" or something like that.
So I uninstalled it, didn't care enough to investigate....

Shame. Maybe you're running an older OS? I'm on Win 10.
I suspect integrated graphics...... Some of the older intel chipsets didn't support shader 3. But, it's been a while since I have seen anything like that.
I'm using Windows 10 as well.
I suspect that your suspicion is correct, integrated graphics aren't that great but I don't play any computer games, anymore....
My old Toshiba laptop would have played it great but sadly it isn't with us anymore.
Shame too, it was a damn good computer.

We rolled back all our work computers to Win 7... Win 10 slowed them down, and it's not like they're old machines.
I saw a slowdown on my laptop also after upgrading to Win 10... I was hoping time and updates would improve things, but they haven't... I let it go too long, and lost the roll-back ability
To go back now I have to start with a clean install... a PitA, but at least I'd get back a handful of programs that no longer work under Win 10... just another thing to find time to do.

Rollback didn't work in any event. It may have LOOKED like it worked, but, there was a fair bit of stuff that simply no longer played nice. Like EVERY scheduled task. (and just a bare bones windows install has a host or 'em......) Fresh install is always nice in any event.
