alarm works but doors dont respond

 

factory keyless or aftermarket alarm?


did they work previously ?


if factory it sounds like your actuators quit.. hit the u-pull it and take a jump pack with you to hook to truck for testing before pulling them out.. that's what I do..


if aftermarket could be unit itself or possibly relays

 

Factory Yes worked fine this truck was purchased from my boss original owner then I got for work truck have been driving it for 10 to 12 years now this happened

 

Tested actuator on driver side and it worked fine someone told me that it goes thru that one first didn't make sense but that's as far as u went

 

Do both door locks work with the switches on the doors?

 

No sir none

 

Fix that first then.

 

Yes sir that's what I'm trying to fix

 

See if you get power to the switches.
