Closing in on 200k, I'm sure there are plenty of bits coming due for replacement.
Kinda sounds like you've already talked yourself into an end to end suspension bushing replacement already.

Ultimately, if the truck's a keeper, it's worth doing regardless of whether or not it solves your immediate problem. I haven't done mine yet, but it's something I do to any vehicle more than 15 years old that's worth keeping. It makes 'em just a tad harder to wreck.

Yup, a full bushing replacement is on the radar at 197k, but so is full steering components, axle rebuilds, trans rebuild, engine rebuild, etc, etc.
At this mileage I'm feeling lucky to have not had to do anything sooner.

I just need to work out where to spend the limited trickle of funds first.

I could see bad bushings doing that...... but, I would think it would make some noise too. But, not like I have never been wrong before.
From the cab it does feel like the back end is pushing out to the right.
I was thinking of putting a camera on the bed (looking at the wheel) to see if there is anything obvious.
