I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2l 4x4. I replaced the power steering pump and in the process I broke two ground wires. I fixed the ground and drove my truck to work in the morning with the headlights working. I got back to my truck after dark and started it up and my headlights didn't work. My yellow drive lights turned on but no high or low beams. My brake light and my abs light on the dash came on when I started the truck. I replaced the dimmer switch because I was told that it could be the problem, but it has not fixed my problem with the headlights or lights on the dash that appeared. Please help because I'm getting pretty frustrated with this truck.

 

Recheck the grounds, if those are good, pull the headlight switch, and check the back side of it, and the connector for melted wires.
