Default My new dash cover

My truck is officially a 90s truck, or more of one anyway

I bought it of five LMC truck, in the blue color to match my interior. First impressions were great, feels like high quality.

I bought this to protect my origional dash, as it is still in perfect condition, just a little faded. And if I replace it in the future I'll have to paint the new one to Mach the blue, and it would not match to the faded blue of all the other Interior parts. So I want to protect it. And I know it's a pita to change the dash too.

I installed it today, it comes with some Velcro strips, and you tape it To your dash and then Put the cover on top of them, and it holds them in place. I put one by each vent, and then in the corners, and front corners, and then wherever else it needed it. And best thing is too, they peel off without any sticker stuff left behind. It's just barley short side to side, but other than that fits perfectly. It has a 5 year warranty, which has really no use unless it rips, but here's the pictures.

I would reccomend to anyone with a origional dash. Time will tell in the long run.

To each his own but I strongly dislike how those covers look in any car. It's better than a cracked up dash I guess. I get the protection aspect but I think religious use of a sun shade when parked is a lot better option

I'm iffy on them. I don't like them and I don't hate them. I just wanted something to protec my origional dass and I also hate the sun shades. I know (cause I'm like this 100% of the time) ill forget to put the shade up, or somehow rip it. Idk. I just don't want to deal with that. I like to get In and out smooth, none of that shade crap. (Speaking of smooth, I drop my tools in the worst possible locations all the time, and most repairs don't go as smoothly as planned. 90% gettin for tools back 10% actual work).

I also now lawns, and I'm in and out of driving the thing every 1/2 hour. I just don't see myself putting it up and down while I'm mowing. So that's why I chose this dash cover.

Right now im rocking old car towels on the seats to protect what's left of them, as I can't justify getting seat covers with the way my driver seat is looking so for now, looks don't bother me as much. (You can see my mint condition paint on the hood right )

I had to replace my dash about 6-7 years ago.Yes it's a big job and I want it to last.

I have a cover on it to help protect it.
