Completely agree wolfie. Cars are so A.I. today that nobody can really drive. I mean REALLY drive. People do get lazy and then the gov will add more sensors and crap in a vicious circle until self-driving cars are law. I'm ready for a new planet.

Autonomous cars are coming, and quickly...... I give it another ten years, and everyone will be taking a page out of Volkswagen's book, and cars won't even come with a steering wheel. You get it, tell it where you want to go, and take a nap.......

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I don't want my car driving me anywhere. But, much as I hate it, it's coming..... just the timing is open to question. I was thinking about this today, as I was pulling in to park at Speedway for my morning coffee, and breakfast sammiches..... how in hades is the AI going to handle parking lots?????

It will phase in I suppose. First, uber and taxis, then cross-country semis on interstates, then personal cars only on long trips, then towns, then cities. If I can't own guns as is my right, and can't drive as is my privilege, then what's the point? What will people do in the future? Anybody seen WALL=E?

I don't think the left is going to have much success repealing the second amendment. I suspect we will see self-driving cars first.

I sure hope you're right. I've sure been doing my part to support the gun industry

They already banned bumpstocks..... And even if you bought one before they were illegal you have to turn it in.

Bored, Fanatic? Dug up a 3 month old thread. Bump stocks didn't do anything that my finger can't do. Eventually, they'll ban fingers since they can't go after the weapons themselves. Seattle wants to make it law that guns have to be locked up in the home. IN MY HOME. Who the hell's gonna enforce this?? Are they going to go door to door to check everyone's weapons? EFF THAT. No gun is safe when locked up because then I'm not safe. I keep plenty within hands reach ready to rock n roll. I'd be the guy the cops kill on the front lawn defending the constitution. . .
