Tools needed:
21mm socket for steering wheel nut
10mm socket for air bag retaining bolts
Puller, I used a harmonic balancer puller (KD2286),
1/2" socket to turn the puller bolt

Removal Steps:
Disconnect the battery
Take the 2 10mm bolts out of the air bag
Remove the harness connectors for horn, air bag, and cruise switches
Remove the 21mm wheel nut
Hook up the puller and pull the wheel off, carefully managing the wires

Install - reverse removal steps

And you should wait at least ten minutes between disconnecting the battery, and playing with the air bag. Otherwise, you might get a rude surprise.

Have not seen any in 2nd gens. Haven't looked at the 3rd gens, I'll have a look next time I go.
