The 95 used 2 temp sensors, one for the gauge and one for the ECM. If the one for the ECM goes bad, it has a big effect on how much fuel the engine gets. Please use a Mopar sensor or a Standard Motor Products sensor, not BWD or any cheap sensor from a parts store.
Well I tried the key thing and didnt get any codes that I could see.
If you don't have any codes you will see it flash a 55 meaning end of codes. If you didn't get that try turning the key faster. Also make sure the bulb is working by checking it when you first turn the key to on before you start it. It should come on then go out(if there are no codes).
