My truck will **** off when it gets to normal running temperature driving or idling. All gages go to 0 and the odometer says no bus. I can try to start it but it wont turn over. I have to wait until the temperature drops some before the gages go back to normal and it turns over. Any advice?

Something is getting hot, and failing.... Unfortunately, there are a lotta things that can cause that..... When it dies, if you turn the ignition off, and then back on, does the fuel pump run??

Won't turn over, meaning that the starter won't crank the engine? Turning over has NOTHING to do with whether the engine tried to fire or not. ONLY that the crankshaft spins when you hit the key.
If the starter isn't cranking the engine gives different things to look for than if it "cranks but won't fire"
