I just picked up 2 free 2nd gen ram 1500s. One is a 1996 5.2l 2wd with 220,000 with a revuilt transmission. The other is a 2001 3.9l with 200,000 miles that needs a transmission governor pressure sensor and solenoid, wheel hub on the front driver side and needs a lot of body work.
The 96 is in great shape, the motor is strong but a bit leaky. If anyone has ever used 2001 parts to use on their older 2nd gens please let me know. I'm gonna use what I can to fix up the 96 and my 94 then scrap the 2001. If you are in the Tucson area message me if you need a part

 

How's the center console cover? I need a lid as mine has had my elbow on it for almost 20 years. It's a bit worn out. Just the lid to the center seat. Could you ship it as I'm not in AZ?

 

You and me alike... mine also has a big elbow dent and split material.
I’m going to recover mine... just need to find an appropriate padding that will hold up.
