Anyone ever rebuilt a 46re im about to attempt it lol iv wrenched my whole life and just nevee rebuilt one so any sugestions b4 i go and try? I got a good kit with steel parts so iv got that done im just seeing if theres somethng i need to no some old indian trik or whatever lol thnx
Only real issue is the big arsed spring in the O/D unit. Need a press, and some sort of fixture for that. The rest is pretty straightforward. There are step by step videos on youtube for the whole process as well. You can also download the service manual for your truck from here.
