Positive camber after replacing upper and lower ball joints
Alright I just replaced the driver side upper and lower ball joints on my 2001 ram 1500 2wd. I bought a Detroit axle front end kit and was wondering if their is a difference between driver and passenger side ball joints causing my issue. The top wasn't shot yet but figured while I'm there, I'd replace both. I also replaced the sway bar links, tie rods, and sleeve's. Passenger side ball joints is the only thing left to do but I don't want to pay for an alignment yet without making sure I did everything correctly. I also had quite a bit of negative camber before.. Thanks
They weren't 'problem solver' ball joints by any chance, were they? The studs in those are not centered, so you can orient them differently to account for wear/problems elsewhere in the suspension......

I ordered an entire front end kit so I'm assuming no.
Get the parts installed, and take it in for an alignment. Should be golden.
Bolt on for me.. whoever replaced them the first time had to drill out the rivets holding them in.
I'm pretty sure the neighbors could hear me yell "hell yeah" from inside their house when I seen they were drilled out already

LOLOL.
Yep, familiar with that sentiment. But, with the proper weapons, they come out easy anyway.
As parts wear, adjustments are made though the alignment process. New parts usually mean you also need an alignment as well. I'm waiting for them to finish aligning my 3500 after replacing the control arms.
