2001 2500, 5.9 ...208,000 rebuilt rear end and transmission stock...Where can I buy a Wells TPS...Amazon is sold out and the Wells Engineering web page doesn't sell...Tx for your reply..

 

I accidently found that Autozone sells Duralast TPS made by wells...

 

Rockauto is a great source for parts. They have several TPS in stock for your truck.

I just found out Autozone sells the Wells Engineering Co. TPS...it aint cheap at 238.00 but it will do a great job I'm told...it is a no contact TPS invented by one of their engineers...Tx. for your reply.

 

Tx. for your reply...I'm thinkin only Autozone sells the Wells TPS under the name Duralast...238.00 but I see that Rock Auto has them for 20 bucks or so...Tx for sending. I can get one for just a few bucks.

 

Just my 2c worth based on experience.
I went through 3 aftermarket TPS before getting one that worked… and that lasted 6 months.
Finally shelled out for one from the dealership and haven’t had a problem since (~5yrs now).

Ive never had the best of luck with aftermarket sensors (any brand, any location), so tend to just buy oem and save my time and money by not doing the job over and over.

 

It's probably an optical sensor compared to the original potentiometer. You can try Delphi sensors they are one of the manufactures used to make the factory sensors for the auto manufactures.
