Thank you for your comments. In retrospect, I think I would process the sausage a little differently; will definitely save some time, and even heartbreak, because superglue and welding the seam with a soldering iron didn't work in a couple of places (we did something else, but that's part of the secret-sauce that makes the sausage taste good).
I took a few pictures of it laying on the work surface before starting on it but none as we worked.

Thanks again,

Joe Truckster

No more rattles from the dash area. We'll see how long that lasts.

Just two months in, so good so far. No rattles from dash area. But the doors certainly let their presence be known. Cover dash with sunshade when parked, hopefully that will delay future deterioration.

Default 3-D Printed Dash

I bit the bullet and pre-ordered the DRT Parts 3-D printed dashboard. They told me they are expecting to have the first ones going out in June. Can't wait!

WE are almighty curious on how those work out. Please post pics, and your thoughts on the process, when you have it in hand.

Interesting. I didn't realize the lower dash went bad on these trucks, too. Thankfully, I only have cracks on mine.
