Default I found a used 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 for sale!

Hello everyone - Hope this is in the right place
Thanks for creating this awesome forum and meeting the wonderful people here. I am looking to get a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 vehicle and I am looking to the community to check if there is anything I should be looking out for while doing my inspection.

Things I will be looking out for are
coolant or oil leads
Weird noises coming from the engine
check the transmission for slips and jolt
verify all the electronics are working properly

The asking price is $16,800 and it has 81200 miles with a Salvage Title.

If you guys have any suggestions on what to check.
Looking forward to joining this family, thanks

I'd be more concerned about the salvage title than anything else. What as the damage? Who repaired it? Do you have documentation of the accident/repairs? Will your insurance cover a salvage title vehicle? (some don't)

Salvage titles differ from stat to state so you need to find out what needs to be done to get a clear title. Also need to find out why it has one.

Hey guys, Thanks for your concerned I already change my mind after looking at the accidents picture of this car, I decided to run the VIN Check, and get the full report including auction records and pictures of the car, the damage looks bad and I'm concerned about it. What do you guys think? Is worth the deal? Share your thought.

Here is the car report: https://app.detailedvehiclehistory.c...RR6LGXGS306346

You did the right thing by running a history report. I wouldn't be concerned about the body damage. Unless the frame horns are bent, it all bolts on. My concern would be the under carriage damage. That's where getting things aligned becomes problematic. Being a leased vehicle isn't a problem but the fact that NO accident report was filed, makes me wonder how bad it ran off the road. If it was in a field, the police wouldn't usually be called. It will eventually make someone a decent truck, but not at the price they want. It was sold at auction for a little over $5000. I've fixed wrecks up before, but I stay away from under carriage problems.

The advantage of history reports, I use Carfax myself, isn't the good cars you find, it's the real clunker you avoid.
