Default new wheels and tires

i just put a 2 inch leveling kit and what bigger tires to fill out the wheel well and if I'm right i can fit 35 inchers in with no problems should i keep the stock 15 rims and just put bigger tires or get a whole wheel and tire set. if that ten what size, I sorta want to keep it old school with the 15s but if there is some reasons 20s would be better or and other size I'm just using that as an example I would love to know

What are you driving? 2nd gens never came with 15's, 16's were stock. If it's a half ton, 33's would likely go rather nicely with your 2" level. I think 35's would rub in various places. Unless its a 2500.... then they might fit even without the level.

Something else to keep in mind though, if you have the stock 3.55s gears, 33's are going to turn it into a dog. 35's will be worse..... and re-gearing ain't cheap.

See what gears are in it now. You might get a pleasant surprise.

I upgraded to 17" to keep the old school look and it is also easier (and cheaper) to find tires even used
