I bought the quadzilla xzt and installed it. It gave me a code for the map sensor and would not clear. Test drove it no power couldn't get boost. I unplugged quadzilla xzt and put everything back to original was able to clear code and truck ran like it did before. Any thoughts about the quadzilla xzt?

 

I would be calling the folks you got it from, see if they have any insight. Otherwise, get a refund.

 

Is this a new unit? The XZT has been around for 20 years I think, if used it could be damaged, if new I would be requesting warranty replacement, hopefully you purchased from a quadzilla authorized dealer or someone willing to refund. I faulty map sensor will result in a code/limp mode and the XZT plugs a Y harness into the map sensor so and issue with wiring/connection will set a map sensor fault. I would verify all your connections are tight and double check there are no pushed out pin in the harness.
