I herd many things about eq and not all good. It depends if they are "built" or just bare castings. Also the casting/date they where made. Have your machine shop go over them.

As I understand it, EQ’s were originally made (cast) in Australia, then casting moved to New Zealand, and of recent years they’ve been cast in China.
