That one wouldn't be bad either. Which is better? Good question.... I don't have an answer for that.

Being OBDI though, may be a problem. In order to get the most out of ANY mod, being able to tune for it is pretty much a requirement. Especially things like cams/heads. Even without, it will likely be an improvement over stock, but, you will be leaving some performance on the table. A *relatively* easy solution would be convert to OBDII. Grab the pcm and harness from a 96-97 truck, do a bit of re-pinning for the stuff INSIDE the cab, and there ya go. OBDII, and a tuneable PCM.

I will look in to the obdii swap down the line but for the foreseeable future I will be staying with the obd1 since I put out around 180 for the harness and between 250 and 300 for the right pcm I can always sell them latter if things go south and get the obdii stuff doing bolt-ons and small modifications but they may be enough for my goal

on a side note take a look at the dodge section I see three things listed that should not be there I wonder how they are doing it cause it just can not be done https://www.hptuners.com/vehicles/

Nope, you are correct. Those are not flash programmable, so I have no idea why they are listing them.....

I know bit more about older gm stuff then I dodge but I have the feeling that the insides of the dodge pcms are nothing like these where you can pull the eprom and reburn it https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/gxQAA...0U/s-l1600.jpg I wish there was some thing like this for dodge
for all I know there might have been at one but it is lost to history or locked away in some ones collection never to be seen or herd from again

here is part 2
and I have another question a while ago I had asked about a radiator swap you told me a v10 one would go right but hose size would be wrong I am looking at radiators again and it seem that regardless of 1500 2500 or 3500 and regardless of 3.9 5.2 or 5.9 they all seem to be a single row radiator it looks like the only 2 row rads are for v10 and diesel am I searching wrong or something

Nope. single row radiator, yes, but, that one row is anywhere from 1 to 2 inches wide.

You have to you homework in regards to what you see out there for radiators, They will say "two rows" but the two rows are shorter that the stock one inch one. There is a thread on here where someone put in one of those rads but i couldn't get confirmation of what the manufacture claimed.
