Looks like hell
runs great. 340K miles
body, dash, bumpers, interior, windshield all suck.
No rust,
I've not got the place or expertise to part it out.
Maybe I could get a few bucks just selling it or
Maybe I could find someone to take it off my hands as a donation.
Kinda looking to see if there are options I haven't thought of.
Restore?
What are your ideas?
So rust simply isn't an issue, and.... der diesel??? Think I would list it on craigslist/facebook marketplace, or whatever other local classified ads you have in your area, and if it runs, shifts, drives even halfway decent, start out at 5K, and see what happens. The older12 valve trucks are pretty much worth their weight in gold around here. Something like you have would sell for near 10 grand in michigan....
Now see?! That's the kind of info i'm looking for, thanks!
I would deliver in Michian for that.
Seems I saw someone in Michigan a couple of years ago that restored 2nd gen, but haven't been able to find them again.

I live in West Texas, I have very little rust on my 1991 Chebby 350/5spd. It has over 400K miles on it but the gas motor and rear end has all been replaced or rebuilt.
I have owned it since 2018 and am pretty careful with all the repairs on it, I could jump in it and drive it anywhere as it sits .... I could not replace it for $5K ... they have value.
Here is a oldie that went off to the paint shop 2 weeks ago .... probably be 2 years before we see it again .... dang painters!
A old 50's Dodge sitting on a newer Dodge chassis with the cummins engine ..... there is a demand for your older truck. At least some value depending on condition of the engine/transmission.
