Default 4th Gen Wheels on a 2nd Gen W/Out Wheel Spacers???

Hey guys, i purchased a 98 ram 2500 manual cummins. It needs new tires and wheels. I love the look of these 4th gen wheels, but am finding mixed responses about whether the hub section will fit over the hub of a dana 80 without wheel spacers. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't be any issues, to my knowledge Dodge has never changed the 8x6.5 bolt pattern/hub diameter besides 19'+ duallys

Nice find though, Im struggling to find 4th gen rims for my 06, everybody wants 2k for em with no tires or they're junk and they still want 1200

I think the bolt pattern is the same, but the studs were larger starting around 2002-2003 time frame. You'll need lug nuts to fit your truck but with wide shoulders on them to hold it all snug.

I thought 9/16 studs started in 94 already, after 2012 they did switch to metric, so you will need to buy bulge cap nuts to fit whatever stud you have, the included nuts wont work for you

Sweet guys! Thanks so much for getting back to me! New lug nuts aren't a problem for me as long as the wheels will fit :-)
I realized my original post didn't quite explain my concern. I had heard that the AAM axels they switched to had "hubs" that stuck out less than the dana 80 did. That was where I had heard of guys having trouble... but it sounds like I "shouldn't" have any problems?

the nuts off your truck will work perfectly fine, the bulge design for the rim has never changed, however it will be an open exposed thread, vs that rim has no center cap, so for looks you typically want a closed or capped style nut
