I have a 95 Ram with a 360 and i got 210,000 and counting! Great truck! Rebuilt tranny at 160k and that's really about the only problem i've had. Love Dodges!
1997 Ram 1500, 318, SLT
155,785 no major problems just a water pump and fuel pump.
And suprisingly i have the stock plenum and it is still fine i do not now how though!
Yes, the time has come at 288,000 miles. My faithful daily driver has now lost compression on 2 cylinders and getting a random misfire on the remainder. Runs like poo, gas mileage dropped like mad, and oil consumption ranks up there with a James Bond smokescreen. She is now parked for small runs here and there as I prep her new heartbeat for transplant.
That being said, I will have a Hughes plate, Accel coil, and Superchip programmer for sale as soon as I start to remove the engine for anyone that may be interested in a great performance package upgrade. Just shoot me a PM if interested.
How are you going to get a hold of a Cummins 6.7?
Those gotta be like, 12 grand for just the engine.
Nah, they aren't quite that expensive. I already have one here ready to be painted/prepped. Going to do an initial install to measure how much of the driveshaft I will have to cut off...or I'll have to buy another 5.9 shaft if I can find one.

I can't wait to get it done myself. Going to be the only one in the country.
1999, 1500 318 5-speed. Just over 300,000. The normal **** like alt., starter, etc. Oh and my crankshaft broke into two pieces a couple years ago. It still ran and I replaced it with no further internal probs.
