Just turned 71,000 miles. Replaced clutch 2 weeks after buying it. Bought this truck a year and a half ago and the car fax said it had 4 owners before me. Maybe thats why it went out so soon. other than that truck is rust free and problem free.

Bargeman, the PO must have been bad to that clutch... I got over 100k out of mine.

 

377219. just a injector pump at 288000 and the valve tapit pan gasket. Ag=nd the pitman arm seal every 50,000.

 

441,167 miles 1998 ex cab 1500 4x4 original engine. Still runs strong

 

just rolled 90000kms today . Still just under 56k on the 1996 . I am enjoying the power from the 5.9 crate engine/M1/SCT/52mmTB/headers/exhaust . She'll never see the stock 5.2 ever again , lol . I made mince meat outta the 20's on there . Just stuck all new on so playing very nice with these ............. so far

 

Tapping on 370k miles on my '01 with 5.9 v8 (not original engine) and getting ready to transplant a 6.7 Cummins in soon.

 

That would be awesome ! alot of guys around here are doing that! Dropping them in Fords and Chevys. Ive got a farmer buddy whos got a dodge 6.7 6 speed ( did the dpf delete etc.) and it will walk right through the stock clutch. Those Cummins have there own sound and sound so ballzy!

It's awesome . I believe it was you who said it was either 300 or 375 hp as only two options were there . Well , I think I should go for a dyno run soon . I don't know if it's the M1 or the tune , but , this old girl can certainly do battle with a new hemi . Flyinryan's tune is perfect . I'm doing 15-16 mpg instead of 12-13 with the 5.2 and having way more fun I'm still under the factory exhaust so when I get that modded , I'll hit the dyno and see whats there . IMO right now , I got the 375 engine . I have 2 100lb sand bags in the rear to keep the wheels from spinning so much , lol . Winter will be a hoot an a half ,
