96 ram 1500 SLT w/ 5.9

274,000 miles
purchased at 142k in 2012

Ran great right till about 190k, then things started to go.

replaced: brake booster, radiator, ball joints, outer tie rod ends, rear drums, rear main seal, alternator, water pump, heads, transmission, torque converter, catalytic converter twice, front left hub bearing, various lug nut studs, ignition switch and lock cylinder, plenum gasket, wires, plugs, the coil, TPS, IAC, battery twice now, battery terminals, headlight bulbs, break light bulbs, blinker relay thing in the access box in the cab, and in the next two days I'll be having a second torque converter, flex plate, fan blower motor added to the list. Transmission is current pulled.

overall, my truck has been very reliable. Its still a daily driver work truck and my only vehicle. I've been stranded twice. Once when the alternator went out and once I needed a tow when the coil went out.

I'm hoping to get it above 300k miles.l, I'm certainly able to do the work and IF I get another truck it will likely be a newer 2nd gen - like a 2000 or 2001.

I'm hoping to hit 1 million so I can get that gold plate cover from Fiat (if they do it anymore). Honestly didn't think it would get they high I got it at 256,XXX and it wasn't takin care of. Had so much sludge in the engine. Me and my dad and ex-gf put that many miles on it.
