have you got a metals dealer, they might have some scrap cheap. or a scrap yard. or if you could find a place that works with aluminum sheets, you could probably pick up a piece of scrap from them. if you find something make sure its plenty thick.

I'll have to look for some scrap alluminim I have a couple of people I can try. getting the gasket and using that for a pattern is a great idea I didn't even think of it. If i can find some allumin I'll try it other wise I'll just buy the APS one. although I don't actually have a leak. I was just thinking of replacing is so that I could get rid of the death flash. maybe I'll just get rid of the death flash and if I have a problem then I'll replace the plenum.
