Of course it won't clean that out man (actually it might help alot)... But that is an EXTREME case scenario. I am saying that for basic maintainence it is a waste of 80 dollars to have someone else do something that you could do for less than $20 (and it's EASY). Good job to you if you cleaned that up good; do you have after pictures? I'd like to see how clean you were able to get them (those look BAD, lol)

Ok, about this seafoam thing. I know it won't give you a super cleaning job, but what is it and if you've used it do you like it? What is this 3 step cleaning thing? What are the three steps and what do I need to buy? Someone said you use seafoam in you're vacuum lines only? Which ones? I'd like to try it but need a bit more info.

Thanks

It is a 100% petroleum product, which means it is super safe for your motor. The 3 step thing contains things similar to alcohol whic can damage o-ring and other components. The "3-step" is only an advertising ploy. All they do is what I said above. They pour a small bottle of solution into your gas tank, spray a solution into your throttle body, and make the motor suck in another solution through a vacuum line. You can do the same with sea-foam and it is safer. I use the vacuum line connected to my brake booster as it is the largest and most easily accessed line on most cars. I am posting videos and a link... watch/ read... You will learn.

These guys are morons- Please do not drive your car until the smoke subsides... And FYI they made there own way of getting the Sea-Foam into the intake because they couldn't get a vacuum line off.

And don't try to start your car like this. You should only run your starter for about 15 seconds at a time, it was built for torque, not long life.

This guy has the right idea when it comes to revving it. Keep in mind, when I did my 01' Integra GSR, it smoked for a good 10 minutes with heavy revving. Don't be scared.

The one on the left for your vacuum line and fuel tank. The one on the right if you want to try and clean your Throttle body.

I hope this helps you out man! Good luck

No problem man. Always here to help. And yes, anywhere should have it. (ie- NAPA, Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, Bumper-to-Bumper, PepBoys, and all of those northern places. Good luck!
