Default Truck won't start HELP!

1997 2500 4x4 5.9 gas 5spd 8800 GVWR
Replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, checked ignition coil resistance. The engine turns over and you can smell gas out the tail pipe, I pulled a plug and it was sparking. Pulled the codes and came up with p0351 "Ignition Coil A primary/secondary Malfunction. The resistance was in the listed ranges both primary and secondary 1.1 and 13000 ohms respectivly. Truly stumped and frustrated. Any ideas?

if it was me i would replace the coil. about $50.
i'm also wondering if it has jumped time, or has a bad crank or cam sensor ??
when did it run last and what did it do when it quit ?

Replace cap & rotor and see if it does it. if not it may be crank position sensor located on back of block. I had same problem as you but replaced sensor first, didnt work then cap & rotor replaced and it ran.
