When I did my tune up I used MSD Wires, Champion plugs, Napa cap and rotor. You might also want to pick up a new PCV valve while in there. I tried the Autolite Plugs at first but it seemed to have a slight missfire. When I replaced them with Champions which come in it stock that went away. Make sure you get the right MSD wires. Summit lists two for our trucks and I got the wrong one. The coil wire was way to short but a call to MSD fixxed that as they sent me a new one and the ends that connect to the dist. were no small enough so they wouldn't stay on the dist. terminals. I bent them in and fixxed this and they worked fine but it would have been better to just get the right kit had I not already ordered one. What I went with is the setup I'd go with if I did it again. On the Honda forum I visit lots of people over there like OEM plugs and wires with either OEM dist cap and rotor or Napa dist cap and rotor. I'm not sure if thats the best setup on Dodges too or not. I do like my setup I have now and it seems to work well although I didn't really notice a power increase.
Im due for a tune up this spring as well and usually I go with Bosch Platinum plugs, Accel Distributor Cap. I think i'll replace the wires this yr but not sure what brand i'll end up with, may be MSD or Mopar Performance wires. Im also eyeing up the Accel Mopar Super Coil, Ive always liked Accel coils.....even had one on my dodge shadow some yrs ago.
The big thing is not the brand per se, but the specs...
On the wires, make sure you get 8mm ones (most stock are 7mm), most Accel's are 8mm but if you can find a set of Taylor 8mm wires, a set of those is at least as good as the Accel but they cost around $60 (last I checked, the Accel's are closer to $80).
As for cap and rotor, I think Mallory makes it, but either way it's the high performance version, that's the key wording: High performance (not heavy duty, not extra duty, not OEM).
I also use Autolite APP5224 Double platinum plugs, mine's a '95 D-2500 w/ 360 cid but my '86 w/ a 318 ran the same stuff.
The other thing to consider, if your truck doesn't leak oil, run either full synthetic or synthetic blend 10w-30 motor oil.
From time to time, Big Lots has them on sale for just over $2 / quart, as for brand, once you get into synth you're so far above the quality of conventional it doesn't matter so most any brand is ok (I've used Valvoline, Pennzoil, Quaker State, and a few others).
The big trick to remember is do NOT switch brands between oil changes (so make sure you get enough quarts for 1 change plus 1 more in case you need), only switch brands at the time of the oil change.

I am about to do a tune up, and besides the above mentioned items, replace your IAC and your TPS. Also check to see if your plenum gasket is leaking or not. A fastman TB would be a nice upgrade at the same time! If your truck has lots of miles on it, it might be time to replace your O2 sensors and cat.

Just to be clear the accel wires are 8 mmand the cap and rotor have brass contacts. These are the main things to look for. If you do a search here you will find lots of information as to plugs.
Check out the post from HankL it has plenty of information to confuse you.

For the most part going with original Champion, Champion truck or autolite 3923 or 3924 seems to work well.
