Tires fitting has alot of factors other than just "will they fit?". Width of the tire, back spacing of the wheel. And to me "rubbing" is minor not scraping the **** outta your tire. I have 5 inches of lift with 35's and can't turn all the way without hitting the outside of my fender.

You have a 4X4 though too. For him it'd be more like if you put 38's on your truck.

Does it rub bad? I might do it if it doesn't.
