the safest product to clean with is
CRC Electrical Grade
"Lectra Clean"
Heavy Duty Electrical Parts Degreaser
bar code number
0-78254 02018 -1
available at most Lowes and Home Depot
in the electrical section
this stuff totally evaporates leaving nothing behind
won't burn or flash over
