Default Removing ground effects

Iv been contemplating removing my ground effects. Is it mostly just 3M tape or something? Will it hurt my paint whenI take it off? Any paint safe adhesive remover I can use? How much does the whole kit weigh? thanks.

Unless it broke or messed up, I'd leave it. Looks good. There will probably be a line where they were from the lack of sun and wear over the years.

chopper1 is right...the paint under the pieces will be faded differently than the paint that has seen sun for years. unless you plan on painting the truck, i'd leave them on

i wouldn't remove the grounds kit.....it's most likely plastic or fiberglass and weighs next to nothing...it's probably held on my 3m double sided taper and will be a son of a bitch to remove....if your thinking about removiing it becuase of weight.....you only going to save maybe 5 pounds i think

weight wasnt a major contributor in my idea. I just see most indys without the gfx kit and i like the way they look. then again, they are lowered too. I guess id have to see one without it and not lowered.
