Hey Bill or anybody will a fuel tank from a 98 Dakota R/T work on a 96 Ram 1500? The Bosses son said I can have his tank as hes putting in a fuel cell to go racing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no. The filler neck has GOT to be in a different location and due to the smaller size of the Dak, the shape has to be all wrong. I looked up capacities, too ... 15G and 22G are the choices. I know the price is right but ...

I guess you could just mount it in the bed. [&:]
