Default Mileage Question

Well my gas gauge doesnt work so I use my trip meter to see when I have to fill up...I have a 26 gallon tank and I reached 300 miles before I filled up and was 2 gallons away from empty...is that good or bad?

No 28G tanks ... 26G ... that's why you ran out. Mine would die about there, too ... if I tried to push it that far. 300's about as far as I'll chance it.

Chad1500: 12.5 mpg ... about right ... I'll get 11.5 to 12.5 ... no way to control it ... get's what it wants to.
