So on my way home tonight the hose leading the transmission fluid to the cooler (Integrated with radiator?) bust off and I guess all my transmission fluid spilled everywhere... I had someone pick me up and i'm at my house now. I need to know a few things..
1. ATF 4 only?
2. With the hose coming off and the fluid leaking out roughly how many qts do I need? 1996 Ram 1500 5.2 4wd
3. I fill from the dipstick?

Sorry I dont have the owners manual and I need this fixed tonight! HELP ME!

 

I can't answer all your questions. But fill from the dipstick yes. And before checking your fluid have the truck running with it in neutral till it's warm.
