Flowmaster single exhaust
Hey everyone!! I have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 slt laramie with the 360 magnum engine. I was thinking about putting dual exhausts on it but im not sure yet. I am currently looking at the single route whre i could just keep the stock exhaust and have a flowmaster muffler put on with a big chrome tip out the side. I am just looking for sound but im on about a 350.00 budget. If i went the single way, which flowmaster exhaust would you reccomend or what do yall think about dynomax, the bolt in stuff. Or should i get dual exhausts. Im only 16 so im working on my truck when i can with what little money i have. Thanks, any help appreciated.
had a local exhaust shop do mine for 350 thats a 3" in dual 2.5" out flowmaster 40 series delta flow...Cheaper yet you can just do the flowmaster using stock pipe single exit... and put a 3.5" SS tip...

Cutting the cat out is a sure way to create other issues. If you do that you will probably need the O2 SIMM like the Fastman sells. Check out his link here: http://www.thefastman.com/02Simms.asp
These engines are fully computer controlled and removing the cat causes issues with the computer as the oxygen sensor reading (assuming you didn't remove it also) will be incorrect.
