Default Rear Speedo Sensor 99 Ram 1500 4x4

Ok I need some ideas. I just recently put gears and a locker in my Chrysler 9.25 and due to the locker the carrier had to be swapped for an open carrier. Here is the problem; the open carrier did not have a grove for the speedo sensor. So now in turn the speedometer and odometer no longer function, but hey no warning lights that’s a plus. I tried splicing in the rear sensor wires with the trany sensor with no luck. So if anyone has an idea of how to bypass the sensor or get it to work with out replacing the carrier again, it would be greatly appreciated
P.S. Sorry for the long post!

You call that a long post???

You NEED the tone ring on the carrier to make the speedometer and odometer work. The only other way I can think of is if you had 4 wheel ABS ... you MIGHT be able to tap into one of the feeds off the front sensors.

BTW ... your RWAL isn't going to work either.
