Default Lund Sun Visor Problem

I have a 96' 1500 Ram, with a Lund visor that seems to be working loose from the top of the cab. It started out as just a small viberation that I noticed while driving - now it's pulled the mounting screws basically totally through the metal on the top of the cab. Out of the 8 orginal screws holding it on - I believe 2 have worked totally out while driving. My brother has had a similar problem on his Chevy truck and solved his problem by putting heavier "lag-screw" type of bolts through his to tighten it down. I have tried this only to have them come loose, or even pull through the metal as well. It's no secret that I don't always drive the speed limits here in Pennsylvania, but even 60-75mph driving caused this, not the 105mph that you would normally think. Anyone had a problem like this? Or any possibly ideas for me to try?

Thanks in advance,
Reb

My buddy had the same problem with his ford. He tried man diffrent things before he finally just took it off till he could find a solution. He eventually replaced the screws with bolts, took his headliner out and put bolts on the underside.

I had the same problem and replaced the screws with expanding studs and nuts. You know...little wings fold out on the bolt when put through the hole then catch when the nut is tighted on.

What land is referring to is "nutzerts" and you get them at any automotive parts house. They will work to keep your visor held down tight.
